Inman Park

is one of the oldest communities with a long history. There are many Victorian architectures, each has its own story behind. However, as time goes by, children and young generations have seemly forgotten the history behind these impressive buildings. Thus, I wanted to design a series of events targeting kids. The first event is about Victorian architectures’ history in Inman Park. Each event’s theme is illustrated from the logo.

2018

Brief Process​

In the first five weeks of investigation and research, I found problems and opportunities in Inman Park. A series of activities to improve the lives of children living in Inman Park and let more people know the story behind Inman Park.

Design Research

Inman Park was built by Joel Hurt and Sameul Martin Inman. It was a long history with many unique Victorian buildings. Inman Park also has its own neighborhood association, IPNA.

Client & Audience

The main target audiences are the children and parents that live in Inman Park.

Problem

Inman park does not have events for children. There are four schools in the whole community, but there are only two places where children can play.

Solution

Every month, we will organize an activity about a certain subject. In this activity, we will provide many interesting games about the history of Inman park to children, which can not only make them feel happy but also remember this knowledge.
